Dr. Harvey M Jackson

Dr. Harvey M. Jackson is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Linda K. Lee. They reside in Cleveland, MS. They have three children; Kimberly, Keandrea and Kendedrick. Dr. Jackson is the son of a plantation sharecropper. He strongly believes that having worked in the cotton fields instilled discipline.

Dr. Harvey M. Jackson has been the dedicated minister of the Lampton Street Church of Christ since 1967. The church began with very few members. Thankfully, through the Grace of God, along with the hard work, commitment, and prayers of its member, it has grown to over 400 members.

Dr. Harvey M. Jackson holds a number of prominent positions in the community. He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He is a board member for the Cleveland School District. He holds a seat on the MS Valley State Foundation Board. Dr. Jackson is President of the MS Valley National Alumni Board. He is also proud to be Co-Founder and President of the MS State Lectureship/Conference.
